Anal sex after rectal wart treatment?

I’ve been doing a lot of research on different treatments for rectal warts and I was hoping that I can get some feedback from those out there who’ve been through it. It seems that cauterization is the most common treatment for my kind of warts and I’ve heard that this leads to a difficult time conducting anal sex because the anus becomes less flexible. Is this what has happened to you? Do you suggest alternative treatments?

Genital Warts Treatment: Dealing With HPV

Genital warts treatment is a private, but important topic. Unfortunately, the HPV virus that causes them never leaves a person’s body, so there is no true genital warts cure. However, HPV treatment can help the warts to go away temporarily, or their appearance can be diminished. Removing genital warts is possible, even if can’t be guaranteed permanent.

What are Genital Warts?

One symptom of the human papillomavirus (HPV) is genital warts. Their appearance varies from white, pink, or grey flat patches to bumps in clusters, and sometimes they can’t even be seen at all. They appear on the internal and external genitals, and in the skin around this region. Genital warts can also be found in the throat of someone who’s engaged in oral sex with an infected person. It’s important to note that even when the warts aren’t visible, the HPV virus is still present, so the infection can be passed on.

Often, genital warts will go away on their own; however, they may return again in the future. If a person has the warts, he/she may choose not to treat them and wait; before long, the warts may disappear. If he/she would like to remove the genital warts, the doctor’s office is a good place to start.

Treating Genital Warts with Creams

Non-prescription genital wart creams and other treatments should not be used. These creams may have negative side effects such as burning or scarring.

A doctor may prescribe genital wart treatment creams that can be applied at home. He/she may also choose to apply a cream in the doctor’s office if the cream could cause burning if applied outside of the infected areas.

Multiple treatments may be necessary.

Stubborn Genital Wart Removal

Some genital warts won’t respond to basic cream treatments. There are a few options in these cases.

  • Laser Treatment – Particularly stubborn warts often respond to this type of treatment.
  • Cryotherapy – Freezing the warts can also be successful, though multiple treatments may be necessary.
  • Interferon Injection – A doctor injects a chemical, called interferon, into the warts. This is a new treatment method.

A person infected with genital warts should talk to his/her doctor about treatment options. The doctor will consider the appearance of the warts, possible side effects, and the patient’s preference. In addition, pregnant women are not eligible for some genital wart removal creams due to possible side effects for the mother and fetus.

Genital Wart Prevention

Anyone suffering from genital warts, or who has had them in the past, needs to be aware that the HPV virus is contagious whether or not the warts are showing. If the warts have been treated successfully, it only means that the symptom is gone, not the disease.

Persons with HPV need to inform their sexual partners about the disease. Condoms can prevent the spread of the disease, but are not 100% effective as they don’t cover all the area that may be exposed to skin-to-skin contact during intercourse.

Any two people engaging in a sexual relationship should discuss risk factors for all sexually transmitted infections (STIs). If a person believes his/her partner may have been exposed to HPV, or may be at risk for it (risk factors include having unprotected sex and having sex with multiple partners), he/she should not have sexual intercourse with that person. Both parties should be tested for all STIs, including HPV, to ensure safety.

Genital warts can be treated, though the underlying HPV infection cannot be cured. Many options are available for those suffering from this STI, and the option best for any patient should be discussed with his/her family doctor.

i had unprotected sex with my bf && i have genital herpes. (for mature people only)?

the story:before having sex we had a conversation about stds. I asked him would you break up with me if i had an std (just like joking around) and he said it depends.. if it was an incurable disease like herpes or aids then we would have to break up. We have only been going out for about 3 weeks, and i didnt know how to tell him i have genital herpes. The type of genital herpes i have is HSV-1 this type alone is harder to spread to your partner. Transmission of genital herpes from female to male is less common.&& while being outbreak free the chances of transmission are low.I have had unprotected sex with guys before and they did not catch the disease.. i know i should tell him i just dont know how && we already had sexx soo now he probably would definetly break up with me because i put him at risk.I know its a horrible thing not to tell him or anybody for that matter but like i said the chances of me giving it to him are slim to none soo why risk our relationship and risk him telling people we both know out of anger. What do you think i should do.People with genital herpes probably understand what im going through. please anwer.yess i have HSV-1 genital herpes.all the other guys i had sex with knew i had herpes and it didnt matter to them. I kept telling my bf i wanted to wait, he went down on me and it just happened. he had a condom on at first and then took it off. CONDOMS DONT PROTECT AGAINST GENITAL HERPES ANYWAYS. geez if your gonna answer my question at least know what your talking about =)

Wart treatment – salicylic acid – how to apply & best wart treatments?

Should I pick at the wart and remove skin layers over the wart so that it is fleshy on the top and then apply the salicylic acid wart treatment (which really stings!) or should I leave the wart alone and just apply the acid (which doesn’t hurt as much)? Also, if you have had quite a large wart and got rid of it, what method did you use? Thank you!

Keep scabs off your citrus harvest

Scab is primarily a disease of Satsuma, grapefruit and lemons. It does not affect the oranges. Scab affects the fruit, leaves and young shoots, causing irregular, raised, corky, scabby, wart-like growths. Severely scabbed leaves and fruit become distorted. Often, the rind of scabbed fruit is thick and puffy. Scab infection occurs on young growth in the spring.

County agents with the LSU AgCenters are seeing a lot on Satsumas and, unfortunately, it is too late to control it.

The time to control this disease is after bloom, when the fruit is pea size. The chemical to use to control the disease are copper fungicides, tribasic copper sulfate or Kocide. If the tree was sprayed, make a second application of fixed copper two weeks after the first application.

Do not mix copper with other pesticides and do not use Bluestone on citrus.

County agents are also fielding calls about citrus rust mite, another problem starting to show. These rust mites are so small that they cannot be recognized with the unaided eye. A 10-times or 20-times magnifying glass is needed.

Heavily infected fruit has a russeted or rusty-colored fruit. Rust mites prefer exposed locations on the tree and usually are at the top of the tree. The damage is done. Ultra fine oil is used earlier in the season.

Spraying oils after Aug. 15 is not recommended.

A local commercial tomato-producer recently asked about Creole tomatoes. He said he often gets people stopping at his place to ask where they can get Creole tomato transplants to plant. Dan Gill, a horticulturist with the LSU AgCenter, provides this information on Creole tomatoes:

Lycopersicon esculentum is the Latin name that is applied to all tomatoes. Every tomato of every type grown around the world belongs to this genus and species, and shares this Latin name.

Within this species are various types of tomatoes that are simply genetic variations, including vining types, bush types, small-fruited types — grape and cherry — meaty types — paste — medium-fruited types, large-fruited types and many different colors.

Within groups, there are different varieties — or more properly cultivars. So, within the cherry tomato examples of cultivars would be “Cherry Grande and Cupid.” Bush types are Celebrity, Mountain Pride and Florida 47. They are all Lycopersicon esculentum.

The Creole tomato name is used two ways. The incorrect way is to say that Creole is a particular cultivar of tomato. In other words, you would go out and plant “Creole” transplants or seeds to grow Creole tomatoes — and this is the only way to produce Creole tomatoes.

In fact, Creole is the name of a tomato cultivar released from LSU breeding efforts back around the middle of the 20th century. Over time, it was superseded by new, more disease-resistant and more productive cultivars. As far as LSU is concerned, this cultivar no longer exists.

Although you may see Creole tomato transplants available at the nursery, horticulturists don’t know where the growers are getting the Creole tomato seeds and what these tomatoes actually are.

LSU has not produced certified “Creole” tomato seeds for decades.

The way Creole is used properly these days is for marketing purposes. Local tomato-growers call their tomatoes “Creole” because they were locally grown in the warm climate and fertile river soils of the area, and because they are grown close to the local market.

They can be allowed to vine-ripen. All of this contributes to a very flavorful tomato. It doesn’t matter what cultivar they use. None of them use the old-fashioned Creole cultivar. They just have to plant cultivars that will produce red, medium to large tomatoes grown locally. The same thing holds for the home-gardener. Unfortunately, many home-gardeners still think they need to plant the Creole cultivar to grow Creole tomatoes, however, this is simply not the case.

The crape myrtles are really pretty in flower now. Someone said that if you remove the spent flower buds now, they will rebloom. Is this so?

Answer: Yes, you can remove these and can get up to three blooms during summer months. Be careful not to remove too much of the branch. Now is also a good time to remove any of the sucker growth from the base of the plants.

VegetableS to Plant in August

Start bush snap beans and bush limas. Plant seed for cucumbers, collards, broccoli, Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower, cabbage, Chinese cabbage, summer squash, southern peas, mustard and green shallot sets.

In late August, plant Irish potatoes and start seed for head lettuce and beets. Transplant broccoli and Brussels sprouts.
