PLEASE help. I only want your answer if you HONESTLY know what you're talking about. Do I have genital herpes?
Since last April, my boyfriend and I had only messed around until I finally gave my virginity to him in January. If I fail to clean myself well after we have sex, I almost always find that a urinary tract infection is the result the next day. I've had one for quite a while now, but that isn't the problem I need help with at the moment. (I digress.) on Friday, we had sex in his car, which resulted in a terrible tear at the bottom of the opening of my vagina. I realize that a certain position we were in caused this, so I don't need advice regarding how to avoid tearing. The tear almost reaches my anus, which is extremely sore as well. (Yucky, I know.) it is much worse than any tear I've had before and has yet to heal properly. In fact, it has barely healed at all. it is excruciatingly painful when I use the bathroom, sit certain ways, or bend over. on Sunday, I realized that the tear wasn't the only cause of the pain I was experiencing down there. using a hand mirror, I took a look and discovered that I have red, painful bumps around my vagina. They are not clustered together, but spread apart, and they are each about the size of a large pimple. however, they are NOT pimples, I DO NOT have razor burn, and THIS IS NOT A YEAST INFECTION. I don't want to hear anything about the possibility of any of those things! My body has been covered in acne since I was very young, so I am very familiar with what a pimple looks and feels like. I haven't shaved in that area recently; I've only trimmed. I've developed a yeast infection before, and this is entirely different. My vagina is also secreting a thick, yellow, odorless discharge. (Again, I promise that this is not a yeast infection.) I only noticed 2 bumps on Sunday, but there are about 4 or 5 now and have nearly doubled in size. (Still, they are no larger than a big zit.) The bumps are located on my labia minora and cause even more pain when I touch them or pee than the tear does. They cause no itching at all. I looked up pictures of sores and breakouts that appear as symptoms of sexually transmitted diseases, and the only images that looked somewhat like what I have were those of genital herpes. however, no picture was completely accurate, so I can't be sure. My boyfriend has had multiple sexual partners, both male and female, and I know for a fact that two of the girls were.. well, whores. anyway, I've never experienced a 'breakout' like this before, and I'm growing increasingly concerned about my and my boyfriend's health. Do you think that I have genital herpes? If not, what does it sound like to you?
Also, I'll be having a check-up on Thursday and plan to mention this problem to my doctor. If it is confirmed that I have an STD, is there any reason that the parent I live with has to know? My mom – who I do not live with – will be taking me to the doctor and would not be upset with me if I had something. She would also pay for medication for me and keep it a secret. Could I request that my medication be confidential between me, my mom, and my doctor if I have something?
it's so long but i read all, i am sorry that i have no idea ,but Don't upset many people have it .may u come to these related site like "herpesanddating.net" or " DatingHerpesSingles.com" for help, many stds people there . feel free to chat, share stories, make friends in your local area.you can find someone to talk or get help! the experienced more and know more take care !
I have Condyloma. Several questions …?
Hi there,
I got Condyloma from my girlfriend.
She doesn't have any symptoms, but it was verified by her doctor.
I urged her to go and see her doctor, because all of a sudden I was starting to develop Condyloma (genital warts) on my penis and its base.
1) I'm not sure how much is this stuff contagious to other parts of my body.
I mean, right now it's still spreading from my penis to my lower stomach, and I'm not sure I didn't touch it sometime and then didn't wash my hands afterwards …
2) can I pass it to my eye, or to any part that's not skinned ?
3) Since the HPV has already broken out, say I have passed it to elsewhere in my body, would it also take months to develop warts, or should I see them within days ?
4) will the treatment leave me with any scars ?
Thank you, from a very worried man :/
Go to a doctor both of you.To get on some meds that will help control some of that.so it want be as visual mainly painful or from infecting. If you stay clean sex wise and hygiene you wont get infected as much to others.but its going to go through a mild process of scaring no stopping that.Just don't let it enahnce to stage 2 or 3.If you already don't have 1 is ok and ppl get that oftern even as a kid.Hope this helps.use condoms and stay getting checked out by a clinic or doctor your girlfriend too.

In a country where a recent study shows a significant predisposition for young Bahamian women to develop breast cancer, women old and young, with or without a family history of the disease are keen to have their annual mammogram. With so much attention being paid to breast cancer prevention, it is easy to forget an equally important test that no woman should miss — an annual pap smear. A pap smear should be routine on every woman’s annual health check list. but unfortunately many women wait years between tests or until a lingering problem arises, and this is the worst time to finally get checked out, say physicians. Deidra Kemp, 35, is finally heading to a gynecologist in a few weeks for her first pap smear in eight years. the mother of two says after going through one too many invasive tests while pregnant with her last son she felt she had had enough of doctor visits and her privacy being violated. “I swore to myself that I would never go to see a doctor again in that capacity after the torture I went through to have my last son. He is now eight and I probably wouldn’t even be entertaining going to do a pap smear now if it wasn’t for my sisters. they are a lot better about doing these tests than I am and surprisingly they both found out they were rapidly developing [benign] growths in their wombs even though they regularly did check-ups. Apparently our mother who died when we were very young had the same problem in her 30s as well. So I am really worried and will be heading to see a doctor as soon as I can.” Dr. Patrick Whitfield, a general practitioner at Oxford Medical Center says pap smears are an absolute must for women who are sexually active. It is a real risk that women like Kemp take by not having the exam, especially since problems that arise can be monitored early and dealt with if necessary, he said.“A pap smear, which is basically just a swabbing of the cervix to get a sample of the cell development, is simple, easy and virtually painless. for some women it’s uncomfortable but it only lasts a few seconds. This is a very important test because its primary function is to uncover the presence and development of the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) which can develop into cancer of the cervix, which is something people don’t need to be dying from nowadays.” while research shows the HPV is considered a sexually transmitted infection (STI) as it is common in those sexually active and non-existent in those who are not, it is not as alarming as HIV or gonorrhea. Physicians say unlike these illnesses HPV can often vanish on its own and future development into cancer can be detected years prior to it happening.“Many women may feel afraid to get a pap smear because of what they may find but they really shouldn’t be,” Dr Whitfield says. “If you keep on top of your health in the early stages of an HPV infection you are more likely to never contract cancer since you can monitor it properly and treat it as you go along. the problem arises when you don’t take this test regularly and wait until you have a problem to see a physician. Unmonitored or untreated HPV can lead to cancer and really damage your fertility levels if it spreads. “There is no need for women to be dying of this illness in our country and in fact I have heard of very few, if any, cases in the last decade due to advancements in technology and vaccinations as well as more awareness of the test. even so it is a mystery to me why so many women avoid getting it done when it is so easy and quick.”Another myth that needs to be debunked is that one has to go to a specialist to get a pap smear. Dr Whitfield says that contrary to popular belief a family physician or a general practitioner can perform the exam as long as there are no specific problems that a gynecologist may be more equipped to treat. for 23-year-old Anna Gibson [name changed] getting her first pap smear was both a relief and nightmare. the college student says she put off getting her first pap smear for a few months until a recurring health problem forced her to visit her physician.“It was terrifying, the thought of doing a pap smear that is. I?had a recurring yeast infection for which there was no known cause. since it was more of an annoyance than something endangering I didn’t feel I needed the pap smear as urgently as my doctor recommended, due to my ongoing problem,” says Anna. “It took a really bad outbreak to get me into my doctor’s office first thing one Monday morning and I was terrified. Not so much of the outbreak but of the pap smear, which I knew I would have to do right then and there. I admit it was very uncomfortable but the key is to relax, my doctor kept telling me. as soon as I did that the exam was over before I?knew it. two weeks later I got favorable results which not only cleared me of HPV but also identified exactly what my recurring problem was. This test was more helpful and painless than I?thought.” Cancer of the cervix is not a common cause of death in Bahamian women because of access to regular pap smear exams. However, it is a leading cause of death in women living in countries that do not have pap smear programs.“Unlike other STIs you can actually prevent getting certain strains of HPV. You don’t have to wait until you are a certain age to do it either, once you become a teenager. most investigators agree that routine immunization in females should begin at approximately age 12 years. since the vaccine has been widely available only for a few years, catch-up vaccinations are currently recommended in previously unvaccinated females beginning at age 13 years and ranging to an upper limit of age 18-26 years. This vaccination can also be done for males as there are studies that show they can suffer from ailments due to HPV as well,” says Dr Whitfield.even with a vaccination a routine pap smear is still required as there are many strains of HPV, Dr Whitfield warns. although major tests like pap smears were previously reserved for older women it is now recommended that within a year of a young woman becoming sexually active she should get her first pap smear. This is especially true as risk factors for contracting HPV increase due to more women having sex at a young age, having multiple sexual partners, having a promiscuous male partner and history of sexually transmitted diseases. “You should also be wary of contracting HPV because it is also associated with other health issues such as anal cancer, genital warts as well as common skin warts of the hands and feet. Many times HPV doesn’t prove to be harmful to many women but a small percentage do develop complications such as aggressive cancers in the reproductive region or other parts of the body,” says Dr Whitfield. “We don’t want women to take a chance with their lives since this is very preventable and very treatable.”
Hpv warts……?
I think I have some warts from PV but my pap's have never shown that I have hpv. I have a wart(what I think is a wart) for 10 years now, I was told it was a skin tag but I don't believe it (dumb ARMY DR's) I now have a new wart on my vaginal wall. Can the HPV stay dormant for years??
I have a wart on my finger, can I still eat finger food? Will touching food/my mouth have any ill effect?
It's right on my finger tip, I can't remove it because I'd lose the use of that finger and need it for my job.
yes! you can eat! do not worry !:)
anyway you must get rid of this wart – and if you really want to remove warts forever then you should know that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!
HPV is the virus that causes genital warts. People can be infected with HPV and never show any symptoms. Others will develop genital warts. these warts can stay the same size, grow, or go away on their own. It largely depends on the infected person's immune system. a healthy immune system means your body may be able to suppress the virus and not show symptoms.
Even after the warts go away, the person will always remain infected with HPV. That person can spread the virus even without showing symptoms.
so you must build up your immune system because your body can get rid of genital warts by itself if your immune system will be strong! so eat more healthy food, more vitamins and more sport activities! (No smoking, no beer/ale, no booze, no drugs, no junk food, no fast food garbage, no sugary sweet soda's. get on a good, balanced, healthy diet including plenty of boiled or steamed vegetables.
Drink P L E N T Y O F W a T E R , fruit juices & fat free milk. Snack on lots of RAW fruit & veggies. get up one hour early every morning & take a BRISK 30 minute walk – then – do the same thing again in the evening after dinner. make sure you eat a good, balanced breakfast daily. You get your energy for the day from your breakfast meal. get 8 hours sleep each night. Flip your mattress over so it will level out to give you a good night's rest. Slack off too much coffee & tea) also you must use herbal treatment!
in that case Wartrol is a good (probably the best) product that gets rid of genital warts comparatively fast and makes you feel more confident knowing that they wont reappear again! It works by stimulating your immune system to fight the HPV virus that causes the warts. of course it is better if you use full course (5 months – if I remember correctly).
It worked and still works for me!
I do not know if any pharmacies carry Wartrol but I do know that you should purchase it directly from the manufacturer and read more about the product here

The advantage of Wartrol over other natural treatments for genital warts is that, since it is taken orally, it also acts on invisible and internal genital warts that can't be treated by other creams and natural remedies.
good luck!

What are the risk of getting Genital Warts?
What are the risk of me (male) getting Genital Warts from a female who has had an outbreak in the past but currently she has not had one since 01/07. or course I will be using CONDOM.
Please notify your sex partners of your STD. Using a condom doesn't always work. you should talk to your doctor for some preventive advice in spreading to others. have you ever thought of being with ONLY those with genital warts?
Hi,DamnIHat.
Having plantar wart, genital wart or facial mole is a difficult thing, not because they are dangerous, but because they can cause some discomfort.Finding a way natural wart removal treatment which is non invasive is not an easy task but possible.Wart removal or mole removal can be dangerous if you do not use all natural methods. If you go to see a doctor to find a natural wart removal treatment they will be faced with very few options. they will tell you the most common methods for wart removal for genital warts or plantar warts are burning and freezing. I know that they aren't the ways you want.
My friend Chris can honestly and confidently say, "MY WARTS AND MOLES HAVE NEVER RETURNED AND THEY NEVER WILL!" Yes, you have the amazing ability to change the way you look and feel about yourself…Right now!

Can you have sex after you've cured genital warts?
Say if you had genital warts (not herpes) and you've taken the needed medication to cure them, (meaning there's none left) If you had sex with someone, would they still be infected from HPV? or better yet, if you have genital warts does it automatically mean you have HPV?
Yes, you still could share your genital warts with a new sex partner. you do become less contagious in a year or two after all warts are gone and none have re-occurred….but the virus can re-occur years after the initial infection was acquired.
There is no cure for the virus(HPV); treatments are to remove the visible signs of the wart or the abnormal cell changes. The virus is in your skin tissues…and can stay there at without replication…without causing visible warts or abnormal cell changes
Yes, every wart on the body is of a HPV types. Warts on the genital are of one of the 40 genital HPV types that are usually acquired during sex..so also considered an STI. Genital warts are usually considered low risk HPV type but sometimes people with warts have co-infections with other genital HPV types.
Of genital warts, 90% are caused by HPV 6 or 11. HPV types 6 or 11 are commonly found before, or at the time of, detection of genital warts (406). HPV types 16, 18, 31, 33, and 35 are found occasionally in visible genital warts (usually as coinfections with HPV 6 or 11)
The primary reason for treating genital warts is the amelioration of symptoms (including relieving cosmetic concerns) and ultimately, removal of the warts. in most patients, treatment can induce wart-free periods. If left untreated, visible genital warts can resolve on their own, remain unchanged, or increase in size or number. available therapies for genital warts likely reduce, but probably do not eradicate, HPV infectivity. whether the reduction in HPV viral DNA resulting from treatment reduces future transmission remains unclear
cdc.gov/std/treatment/2010/ge…
Once no further HPV lesions can be detected by clinical exam, and no new lesions have appeared over several subsequent months, the chance of shedding enough HPV to be contagious dramatically falls. while it is impossible to tell anyone exactly when they have little-to-no chance of passing HPV to a partner, as months go by with no lesions found (especially if none are found by a skilled clinician), the possibility of being contagious becomes increasingly remote.
The inability to be 100% sure that an individual with a history of an HPV infection is no longer contagious should encourage honesty whenever a new relationship begins. this should be balanced with the fact that most people are exposed to this virus during their life, and that, for most, this virus does not usually cause great harm.

You can't "cure" warts although you can treat them and they will eventually go away. They will always be contagious with or with out an outbreak although moreso with an outbreak.
Herpes and hpv cause genital warts
you can have sex after you've cured genital warts, but always use latex condoms to protect you and your partner.
Can genital warts be transmitted by sharing a razor?
I just found out my sister has them, and never told me about it, and we live together and could have shared a razor at some point, so I'm freaking out.
yes absolutely, in fact you can transmit/receive gential warts from a toilet seat even. I would think the added probability of it being used "down there" and potentially cut skin would make this a HUGE risk. Herpes can be transmitted even when you are not having an outbreak and I believe studies have shown that having the virus makes it easier to transmit/recieve the HIV virus.
yes, yes, yes! but only if you will use razor immediately after her because genital warts are caused by HPV virus and virus dies after ~1 minute outside humans body! anyway – be very careful! and it will be better if your sister will get rid of warts as soon as it is possible because warts are very contagious!!
you MUST tell your sister this :
"if you really want to get rid of genital warts forever then you should know that you can remove genital warts by surgery, freezing, laser, acid or cream but genital warts can reappear again and again because genital warts appears when your immune system is weak!

Since warts are caused by a virus, the answer to your question is yet. A virus can live quite a long time on many surfaces.
I believe STDs are transmitted through certain bodily fluids so I'd say no. You should go to a doctor anyways to make sure.

Not common but possible.
Yup, there is a chance. Get to your GYN.
How do i get rid of herpes in my mouth, and i have a bad case of genital warts, what should i do?
You sound like an idiot to ask stupid questions like this. if you study or read the information offered you would understand the PROBLEM.
If you have hpv in your mouth it will go away and come back at times, get it yet?
Get with the program and get educated and grow up. how old are you stupid?
Your answer will be looked at.

I'm not should maybe you should go to the doctor
nothing much to say other than i think it's a good idea to go to your GP before it gets worse and spreads>
Good Luck
Hey folks do u think men with genital warts can reproduce healthy children?
i have a friend with genital warts and he is a bit worried can he still give his wife children?
yes he can have healthy children but if he gives his wife genital warts they will give her special medication during the last couple weeks of pregnancy to ensure the child doesnt get the warts because it can cause blindness in newborns…
oh man, thats gross. how the hell are the warts going to make there way up the poon and get in the kid. why would a woman want to have someone with warts on their pecker to even plow into the poon buffet in the first place.
Yes, it just is passed on to the mother. the mother can possibly pass it on to the children. the children can still be healthy though. just rule out other STDs…they should be much more concerning. things like Hepatitis B. This is much worse and fairly common.
HPV = genital warts
HBV = hep B
Yes, but they will look like toads.
It's absolutely possible. If his wife has genital warts a c-section can be preformed where the baby won't have to pass through the vaginal area where the warts are. just make sure that the doctors are aware of their situation.
warts are not inherited
