Do Genital warts (HPV) go away with time ?

I got diagnosed with genital warts over a year ago when I got back with my ex. I have not had a break out since last September and everything seems fine. I have been hearing different things & I just want to know if you have a good immune system if it will eventually go away or not? & is there any treatment at all if it is not curable ?
